“Instead of giving myself reasons why I can’t, I give myself reasons why I can.”

~ Unknown

I don’t know about you, but I need to be in this space constantly. There are SO many things I want to do, so many ideas flowing through my brain and there are always reasons why I can’t. I chose to focus on the reasons why I can!!!

I needed this because as of late, I’ve been holding off on doing something that I really want to do because I’ve been focusing on the reasons why I can’t or shouldn’t. It’s so easy to talk ourselves out of pursuing our dreams than it is to talk ourselves into pursuing our dreams.

Being your biggest cheerleader is one of the best gifts that one could give. Staying encouraged is sometimes difficult but tapping into that inner cheerleader is so grand.

I know the feeling, I frequently know I need to focus on something but can’t seem to find the concentration!

Love that quote. It’s always easy to find reasons not to do something but instead we need to give ourselves reasons to do what we want.

i don’t know about you, but i need to lay down and wallow around in this space, and then get up and take a shower with it, and then cover up with it at night. you get my point, huh?! it’s been one of those days, Cam, when i know i can but have allowed the negative chatter to sway me in another direction. getting back on track now…thank you!

I have to admit that it is so much easier to find reasons not to do the things I should. It’s a waste of energy, really…

I think I do that too. My focus gets a little sidetracked. But I know I could accomplish a lot more if I kept my eye on my goals.

Very true… I love the message of the quote. Never find a reason why you can’t but look for the perfect reason that you can.

“Instead of giving myself reasons why I can’t, I give myself reasons why I can.”This is the best line that I have ever read from your post…

Self-encouragement is the best way to be able to get over on something important. Never say i can’t, instead say “i will”.
